A finales de 2018,estar\u00e1n en servicio los 115 trenes, 1.140 coches, encargados a Siemens que tambi\u00e9n realizar\u00e1 su mantenimiento, .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La red Thameslink podr\u00e1 afrontar los incrementos de demanda esperados para los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os con este nuevo material rodante y, fundamentalmente, cubrir adecuadamente el servicio en las horas punta en el centro de Londres, objetivo b\u00e1sico del proyecto Thameslink.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El proyecto<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El proyecto en el que se han invertido unos 6.000 millones de libras, unos 7.250 millones de euros, supone construcci\u00f3n de nuevas estaciones y ampliaci\u00f3n de las existentes, la adquisici\u00f3n de trenes m\u00e1s largos y capaces, y nuevos sistemas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con todo ello, la cadencia de paso de trenes podr\u00e1 situarse en el entorno de los dos o tres minutos en las horas punta en el centro de Londres, lo que equivale a veinticuatro trenes a la hora.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rieles.com\/front\/wp-content\/uploads\/20276-siemens2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45434\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rieles.com\/front\/wp-content\/uploads\/20276-siemens2.jpg\" alt=\"Die Zukunft des Pendlerverkehrs - der komfortable neue Siemens-Zug f\u00fcr das Londoner Thameslink-Netz wurde am 24. Cada Desiro City ofrece un total de 1.750 plazas (Ver noticia).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las amplias puertas facilitan la subida y baja de viajeros y unos indicadores electr\u00f3nicos ofrecen informaci\u00f3n sobre el volumen de viajeros en cada coche del tren y los asientos que est\u00e1n libres, facilitando una mejor distribuci\u00f3n de los pasajeros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los trenes se mantendr\u00e1n en los talleres de Three Bridges, ya operativos en el sur de Londres (Ver noticia), y de Hornsey, en el norte, que se abrir\u00e1n a finales de este a\u00f1o.
